Sherri has called Snohomish home for more than 25 years, raising her 5 children with her husband, teaching local students, serving the community she loves, and is also Grammie to a group of grandkids. She's a current elected official who has prioritized working with others in leadership to deliver measurable results for working families, not headlines.
She's running for State Senate because Washington's families and small businesses deserve someone in Olympia who treats their tax dollars like the hard-earned money they are.
Why This Matters
Now more than ever, Washington needs elected leaders who understand simple economics. Businesses are fleeing due to a rapidly deteriorating business climate, primarily driven by the largest tax hike in our state's history. Nearly 44% of business leaders polled are considering leaving Washington due to high costs, increased tax burdens, and poor economic confidence.
Washington's financial picture is so bad that Moody's has downgraded the state's financial outlook from stable to negative. As an elected leader I have prioritized working with others in leadership to accomplish goals. I will address our community's needs and our state's overregulation.
